The builders.
Farcaster Batches is a week-long builder showcase across the Farcaster ecosystem, organized by JubJub and hosted by the GM Farcaster team (Adrienne and Nounish Prof). Over Jun 1-5 it brought builders on stage each day - plus a live Founder Check workshop - to break down what they are building and how it connects. Every session is captured as a ZABAL data stream. Here is each project, on one page.
What Farcaster Batches is
A week-long focus on the builders around the Farcaster ecosystem - builders present live, with two workshops landing later in the week (a Founder Check workshop in the GM Farcaster studio, and Cashless Man and Royal Aid on AI automation and self-hosted infrastructure). The throughline every speaker and Adrian keep returning to: build the thing you want to see in the world.
This is GM Farcaster's show - they ran it and host every episode publicly. Watch the videos on GM Farcaster: Day 1, Day 2 (workshop), Day 3, Day 5. On top of their recordings, we add a summary and a full transcript for each day so it stays searchable and queryable.
Our transcripts: Day 1 - builder chat (Jun 1), Day 2 - Founder Check workshop (Jun 2), Day 3 - builder chat (Jun 3), and Day 5 - builder chat (Jun 5). It is all in the ZABAL Data Streams feed.
Day 1 builders (Jun 1)
Vini App
Chris Dolinsky (with Nick)
A natural-language app builder on a connected app stack: prompt a fully functional application into existence in minutes, in any language, no coding required. It sits on top of harnesses like Claude Code and Codex and layers on the connections, wallets, and primitives you would otherwise provision yourself. Every app gets its own wallet that pays for its AI build, storage, and image generation.
- Vini-a-thon: $1,000 USDC prize pool (extra $250 from Justin / AHN.eth). Build Jun 1-5, judging Jun 5.
- Optional Clanker token per app; 10% of token trading fees roll up into the umbrella Vini token.
- Composes with Empire Builder (yerbearserker / Diviflyy). Full leaderboard; tracks unique users per app.
- Distribution: World, Celo MiniPay, Telegram (coming), and the open web.
POIDH
Kenny
A social bounty platform: crowdfund any outcome, then verify it happened. Each bounty is an "ephemeral funding pool" with a small attack surface - one specific yes/no outcome that the people who funded it vote on. Three years building in public on Farcaster.
- Now live on Ethereum mainnet (contracts tested).
- Batches promo: the first 20 Farcaster-tied bounties get a $25 boost plus promotion. Minimum bounty 0.001 ETH.
- Signature win: a $30,000 Farcaster-crowdfunded kickflip world record (Dave Bachinsky). See Kenny's article "The Ephemeral DAO Machine."
Juke
Nikki Sapp
An open-source, mobile-native, audio-first Farcaster client. Built in about a week to push for native audio Spaces - which Farcaster (Rish) later shipped. Juke keeps going as the open-source baseline client (point an LLM at the repo and build your own) plus features Farcaster lacks: voice notes posted directly to the feed, Space recording, and a new audio SDK that Zaal helped test end to end.
- Audio SDK: integrate native Farcaster audio Spaces directly into your own site or app.
- Deliberately no token and no wallet to launch one - a passion project, open to contributors.
- Supports mini apps, snaps, channels, and a GIF keyboard.
Founder Check
Jonathan Colton
An agent-driven go-to-market validation mini app, grown out of the book "Distribution Is Hard, Don't F It Up." It runs GTM pain research with agents and scores how clearly a founder can communicate an idea - "Duolingo for builders," where you use it, improve your score, and get better at being understood and replicated.
- Built with the Farcaster building agent (built-in wallet, social graph attached).
- A live session with Zaal jumped his score 3.3 points out of 10 - one of the top jumps measured.
- Live-workshop format: run one idea through it on stream and watch the score reveal.
Fotocaster
Jonathan Colton and Erik
A photo mint built for maximum artist sovereignty. Born from frustration with Rodeo's 50% take and lack of control over editions, Fotocaster lets artists keep nearly all of their proceeds while the platform takes about a penny per sale. Mostly photography, inexpensive, a joyful way to collect art on the timeline.
- Over 6,000 collects in the first 30 days.
- Built with the Farcaster building agent; Erik was the architect.
email remittance pro
Dr. Deeks
Send money to anyone by email - the email is the identity layer, no required identity verification. The sender funds an escrow wallet; the recipient clicks a claim link and chooses how to receive it: the token sent, a different token across Monad, Base, or Celo, or a gift card, with any swap or bridging handled on the back end. Built for the Synthesis hackathon, fully autonomous-agent-created.
- Two modes - business and personal. 1.5% flat fee on funds sent in; everything else to the user.
- Proven on chain (transaction proofs + video). Redeploying on Render and Cloudflare.
Crafters
Dr. Deeks
An AI word-combination game. Start with a base set - water, earth, air, fire - and drag two words together; AI combines them into a new word recorded in the database. The first person ever to create a given word can mint a Megamind NFT marking them as its creator.
- Beta live as a mini app / web app.
- Agent-driven features in progress: Megamind heists, rival coaching, rentable agents that keep crafting on your behalf, daily challenges, check-ins, leaderboards, and a dynamic celestial weather system.
Ghostwriter
Dr. Deeks
A community-driven, Madlib-style storytelling game. Contribute a word into an active story to earn a creator credit, which lets you start your own story from a prompt and category. Each submitted word mints an NFT with hidden metadata; when the story completes, it reveals automatically and everyone sees what they built together.
- One of several Dr. Deeks projects (alongside Journey Through Time).
Day 3 builders (Jun 3)
A second builder showcase: six builders on what they are building in and around Farcaster, hosted by GM Farcaster (Adrienne and Nounish Prof), organized by JubJub. Full transcript.
ZABAL Gamez / The ZAO
Zaal
An impact network for the creator economy: bring the profit margin, the data, and the IP rights back to independent artists. A 100+ person music community since 2022, community first and technology second. ZABAL Gamez is the three-month buildathon that opens the doors to the ecosystem.
- June workshops, July open build, August finals. Free, any harness, three tracks - artist, builder, creator.
- $500 prize pool seeded by the FarHack win (Zlanked Online, the Snaps category), put back into the ecosystem.
- Every session is recorded and transcribed; the agent dump lives at zabalgamez.com/llms.txt.
Empire Builder
yerbearserker (Jordan Oram), with diviflyy
"From dream to empire." No-code tooling - treasury, boosters, easy rewards distribution, burn - partnered with Clanker, plus a tokenless option for communities. An integrity-first message: not here to tell you to launch a token, here to help you build something wonderful and reach for a token only when it actually helps.
- Tokenless empires: deploy one to your feed from the pinned snap, free.
- Yerba Mate NFT collab with AZ Flynn - a holder leaderboard dropping BLNKER to holders.
- $250 toward the Vini App buildathon for builds that use Empire.
Defense of the Agents
AZ Flynn
A casual idle MOBA (humans vs orcs): pick the lane you want, your hero auto-attacks, and every two levels you pick up and level a skill. Built to make a famously sweaty genre simple and social - you are always dropped into multiplayer with teammates.
- A strong, daily Farcaster mini-app community driving strategy and feature ideas.
- Collabs: betrmint (Ring of Regen $1 mint) and yerbearserker (Yerba NFT utility).
- Praises the Farcaster mini-app UX - wallet attached, zero spend friction. A mainstream rebrand is in the works.
Booster
Cashless Man
A permissionless marketplace to boost a cast or earn by boosting others. Amplifiers earn passively based on their follower count - the app does the liking, recasting, or quote-casting; they need do nothing. Two years of building mini apps, tools, and bots on Farcaster.
- Also built: a Farcaster username changer, a subscription mini app, Anonpost, and a GIF mini app.
- Signer keys are hashed - or skip signing entirely and just boost.
- Day 4 workshop (with Royal Aid): self-hosting the full stack on a VPS, back-end and front-end.
Celebration Hub
Duckfax
A social app for events, gifts, and celebrations: discover events, track birthdays, send gifts, and build a visible celebration history in your own positive feed. Five gift types - drawing gifts, AI-curated, curator art such as Bizarre Beast and Next Art, and JPEGs or memes - sent as NFTs.
- Multi-platform: Farcaster, web, Solana and Ethereum wallets, Base Hub, Telegram, bots and agents.
- Joysender agent - free on Farcaster, shares birthdays daily.
- Built over about a year. Open to creators (provide art) and Telegram testers.
Day 2 - Founder Check workshop (Jun 2)
A live workshop, not a Space: Jonathan Colton walks Kenny (POIDH) through Founder Check on stream in the GM Farcaster studio. Founder Check scores an idea on four pillars - Who (customer clarity), What (problem / Jobs To Be Done), Reach (channels) and Ease of sale - on the Claude API, then exports an execution file you take back to your own agent. The lesson: everything is downstream of who you build for, and your circle masquerades as product-market fit. Full transcript.
Day 5 builders (Jun 5)
The closing builder showcase, hosted by GM Farcaster (Adrienne and Nounish Prof), organized by JubJub. Full transcript.
DEKEY
Node
A peer-to-peer encrypted file marketplace. Encrypt a file and sell decryption keys; a zero-knowledge proof verifies each key is valid before purchase. A new primitive - only key holders can ever see what the file decrypts to.
- Limited, resellable keys (multi-hop) create real scarcity and a speculative market.
- On-chain-enforced royalties (1-99%) set by the listing creator - the fix for the old NFT royalty problem.
- Self-sovereign, portable profiles - you back up your own data; files up to ~1GB via the mini app.
POWER
Max (baseddesigner.eth)
A link-in-bio page builder. Sign in with Farcaster and it auto-pulls your addresses, links and stats so you never start from a blank page. Max's first public appearance in two years on Farcaster.
- 30% recurring referral revenue for sign-ups from your page.
- Embeddable widgets - weather, Polymarket live odds, live token price - open for the community to build.
- Agent-friendly, with x402 purchases so agents can browse and buy your listed files.
betrmint
Toady Hawk
A "dopamine distribution machine" for creators and founders: collect $1 USDC limited editions, earn flywheel spins for prizes up to 100x, and stake the BTR token for daily rewards funded by real app revenue.
- NFT-utility collabs: a buff in Defense of the Agents, a Planks ball pack, a free Vini build.
- Live alpha: 50M+ BTR holders get a karma-cash slot instead of "better luck next time."
- New referral program pays liquid BTR for shares that convert. Burr is spinning the in-house games into "The Lobby" with Planks.
Runner
Darko
Started as the first Clanker (a meme), now becoming a real running app. Log a run, land on the leaderboard, and the top of each period gets an airdrop. A more robust Strava-integrated version is close to launch.
- Strava login auto-logs runs (harder to cheat); also a Base-app and standalone web app.
- Weekly airdrops moving to monthly seasons with much broader payouts; a share-to-earn referral program.
- Privy login with tiny ETH gas gifts for newcomers; built by Samuel Huber's team via a Base grant.
