# Farcaster Batches Day 3 - builder showcase (GM Farcaster)

Part of GM Farcaster's week-long Farcaster Batches. Day 1 was a builder-showcase Space,
Day 2 was a workshop with Jonathan Colton, and Day 3 (this session) brought six builders to
talk about what they are building in and around Farcaster. Hosted by Adriene and Nounish Prof,
co-hosted by Adrian (diviflyy), organized by JubJub.

## Builders in this session

- **Zaal - The ZAO / ZABAL Gamez.** An impact network for the creator economy: bring the profit
margin, the data, and the IP rights back to independent artists. A 100+ person music community
since 2022, community first and technology second. ZABAL Gamez is the three-month buildathon
opening the doors to the ecosystem - June workshops, July open build, August finals, free and
any harness. The $500 prize pool came from the FarHack hackathon (Zlanked Online, the Snaps
winner). Transcripts land on zabalgames.com; the agent dump is at zabalgames.com/llms.txt.
- **yerbearserker / Jordan Oram - Empire Builder.** "From dream to empire." No-code tooling
(treasury, boosters, rewards distribution, burn) partnered with Clanker, plus a tokenless
option. An integrity-first message: not here to tell you to launch a token, here to help you
build something wonderful and only reach for a token when it actually helps. Ran a Yerba Mate
NFT collab with AZ Flynn and a holder leaderboard dropping BLNKER to holders, and put $250
toward the Vinny App buildathon for builds that use Empire.
- **AZ Flynn - Defense of the Agents.** A casual idle MOBA (humans vs orcs): pick a lane, your
hero auto-attacks, level up skills. A strong, daily Farcaster mini-app community driving
strategy and features. Collabs with BetterMint (Ring of Regen $1 mint) and yerbearserker
(Yerba NFT utility). Praises the Farcaster mini-app UX - wallet attached, zero spend friction.
  defenseoftheagents.com.
- **Cashless Man - Booster.** A permissionless marketplace to boost a cast or earn by boosting
others - amplifiers earn passively based on follower count (like, recast, or quote-cast).
Also built a Farcaster username changer, a subscription mini app, Anonpost, and a GIF mini
app. Workshop the next day on self-hosting the full stack on a VPS; signer keys are hashed.
- **Duckfax - Celebration Hub.** A social app for events, gifts, and celebrations: five gift
types (drawing gifts, AI-curated, curator art such as Bizarre Beast and Next Art, and
JPEGs/memes), gifts sent as NFTs, hosted events and birthdays, its own positive social feed,
and multi-platform reach (Farcaster, web, Solana/Ethereum wallets, Base Hub, Telegram, bots
and agents). The Joysender agent is free on Farcaster and shares birthdays daily. Built over
about a year; open to creators and Telegram testers.

## Also surfaced

- The Vinny App buildathon (the "Vinnie-athon") runs through June 5.
- FarHack is where the ZABAL Gamez prize money originated (Zlanked Online, Snaps category).
- Zaal's goal: capture transcripts from ZABAL Gamez, Farcaster Batches, and the agentic
bootcamp in one place for anyone to query with their LLM.
- Recurring theme: collabs are the growth engine - bring people a concrete idea, not just a
partnership shoutout. And Farcaster Spaces are an underrated distribution channel: any active
Space is visible to everyone, followed or not.

## Transcript (raw capture)

GM, GM, everyone. Hopefully everybody can hear me okay. I'm trying to... Oh, good. Adrian's now up there. That's weird. Nothing's ever easy. Nothing's ever easy. Can you hear me? Yeah. Okay, good. Can you- Okay, good. And I'm trying to- What, what? ... add all the speakers up. Is that Duckbax? Hello, Duckbax. Yep. Hello. Can you hear me though?

Hello. That was actually a talking duck. It's true. It's a talking duck, yes. Yeah, can you hear me well? We love a talking duck. We can, yes. Okay. Yeah, nice. You sound good. You sound good. Okay. And I started it a little early just so we could get everybody up and running and make sure everything's- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah going well. It's a professional. This is my first space by the way. This is my first space. Professional ... space. Wow. Space. Is it called space? Yeah, space. Yeah. Like space? Okay. You're a first timer. A space virgin. Yep, a space virgin. Wow. Okay.

Uh, all right. Let everybody know we are starting. GM, GM. What's up, everyone? GM, Zaal.

Do you guys mind if I just test a quick audio for a quick check? Sure. Yep, you sound good. Awesome. Let me know if you can hear the, uh, music. Okay. Yep. Oh, whoa. Too lou- Yeah ... yes, but too loud. Too loud. Okay. I'll lower it down. Well, the, it wasn't- You- ... actually gonna be music what I played, so... Oh, my. I don't, I don't know if I wanna know.

Um, your, your, your spoken vocals are a little bit lower, and the music was coming out quite loud. Yeah. Gotcha. Okay, let me test this out real quick. But you're actually, your spoken vocals sound perfect, like they're at the right- Okay ... volume to me. Thanks, guys. And then we've got Cassius Min. Let me invite you up to speak.

I, I sent, I sent him a request to speak, but- Okay ... oh, there he is. All right. I think... Who else are we waiting for? We are waiting for, um, Joy and AZ Flynn I think are the only two we're missing. And let me just make sure sound is coming through for the stream yard Okay, can you guys say some things? I see Lynn- Hello

defensive, defensive agents is in. Okay, good And, uh- Good morning. All right, now we're good to go. I just wanna- And Jonathan Colton. And I'm also recording this, um, in our StreamYard studio, and that's the recording that I'm putting out, so when we get started. Okay. Add a speaker. Okay, connecting. I think we've got almost everyone.

We're just missing Joy. All right, well, let's get rolling. Um, I'm gonna hit record in the StreamYard studio and then just do a quick little intro to what we're doing here today, and then, uh, we'll, we'll get going. And here we go.

One sec. All right. We are back for Farcaster Batches, day three. Uh, day one we had a great space just like this with some amazing builders talking about what they're building on Farcaster and around Web3. And then yesterday we had a great workshop with Jonathan Colton, and that was super fun. Um, that is now available on all of the GM Farcaster channels, uh, YouTube, Spotify, Apple, et cetera, or you can go to gmfarcaster.com, and now all our episodes are available there as well, um, with some really nice, nicely designed pages.

A little shout-out to Adrian, um, with ... So all the casts that we mentioned, things like that, you can see those there as well. And today we have six builders who are gonna be joining us and chatting about what they're building, uh, in and around Farcaster. Um, some on Clanker as well, um, d- all different approaches, and, uh, let's dive in.

So we have with us today Zaal from The Zao, Jordan, @urberzerker, from Empire Builder. AZ Flynn, I think is behind the Defensive Agents account there. Um, I'm gonna assume. Uh, we're supposed to have Joy joining us as well. We'll see if, uh, she makes it in here. Cashless Man is down there for booths and ... booster, and then Duckfax is with us for Celebration Hub.

So we're gonna go through right in that order. Um, again, shout-out to Jubjub who put all this together, did all the organizing, and we really appreciate all the work that went into pulling together these sessions. Um, all right. So we are gonna start with Zaal. Welcome, Zaal, and, uh, you're building The Zao and a number of other things underneath that.

Tell us a little bit about what you're building. Yeah, for sure. And also everybody else, give a little retweet, let people know we're in here. Um, but Zaal, take it away. Awesome. Thank you so much, Prof. I appreciate it. Shout out to Jub Jub for organizing this. I thought it was a phenomenal idea, and, uh, I'm really excited to be here speaking with you guys about the Zaal.

So ultimately, the Zaal is an impact network for the creator economy. Our goal is to bring the profit margin, the data, and the IP rights back to independent artists. And today, we're about 100 person- plus person music community. Uh, we've been working on this since 2022, and our focus is on community first, technology second.

So we're not here to teach you crypto. We're here to help you own more of what you already make. So how does the Zaal work? The Zaal is an incubator that runs on social capital. You bring an idea, you assemble partners around it based on who actually shows up to support it. Support first, tools and token second.

Yerber Zerker actually even mentioned in our first workshop, assemble, affirm, asset. The token is the amplifier, not the foundation. So your idea gets an opportunity to earn its partners, and that's the whole engine. So I'm gonna play a little clip of one of our projects that is currently being incubated in the Zaal

Here we go. GM. The Zabal Game Season One is in search of workshop leads. June is the prep month, a library of recorded sessions that gets a whole cohort of first to vibe coders ready before the ship a thing this July. If you have built something worth teaching, you have a session to give. Visit zabalgames.com.

That's Z-A-B-A-L games.com and sign up. What, what, what is the Zabal Games? Three months, June, July, August. June is prep with Zaal teachers, vibe coding instructors run recorded sessions on tools, context, and the ecosystem. July is the open buildathon. Anyone with the vibe coding harness ships a build for the Zabal ecosystem publicly.

August is the finals, a cohort curated from July, each builder paired with a Zaal mentor for the main event winner reveal

So I hope that gave a short- Wow ... quick understanding of the Za Ball games. You know, shout out to Iman. He made that for me, you know, on a whim too, which is really cool. It's always really amazing to see what Web3 creators just create in less than 24 hours when you send them stuff. So, um, I really appreciated that.

It was an awesome opportunity to give an intro to some of our audio clips, um, bring it here as well, and really in less than a minute explain what the Za Ball games is. So the Za Ball games is ultimately gonna be my next three months. The first month being, um, workshops, the second month being an open build, and the last month being a curated build.

So Our buildathon is gonna put every project in the Zao w- that we've incubated in one place. So we have many different projects in the Zao, including Wave Wars, which is, uh, live traded music battles. Zao Festivals, which is the IRL arm, in-person performances. Zao Fractals, which is our weekly governance meetings.

The Zao Newsletter, which we leverage Paragraph to, to share, um, some podcasts that we have out there, like Let's Talk About Web3 and Let's Talk About ETH and Better Calls All Yaps, as well as some of the collaborative projects that we have with other communities, including the MIDI Zonks and the COC Concerts.

So ultimately, the Zabal Games brings together, uh, brings all of these together for a one three-month buildathon, so anyone can build on top of the ecosystem and understand it more. It's gonna be how we open the doors to the Zao ecosystem. So, as I said earlier, our first month is gonna be June, the workshop month.

I am-- My goal is to ultimately get all of the amazing Farcaster creators to come in, share what they're working on, share all of the work and effort they've put into what they have built, and actually be able to explain how people can come in and use the tool they've built. So we actually had, uh, an awesome first presentation on the 1st of June by Yerber Zerker starting it off talking about Empire Builder.

You'll hear a little bit more from him later today. Um, we had an awesome next presentation about Bonfires, which is gonna be our AI agent capturing the memory of the Zabal Games. Um, yesterday I had a great conversation with Onaji starting the creator track, um, and chatting about live streaming and the different tooling there and his journey there.

And today we have an awesome presentation that Cassie's gonna be giving all about, uh, Farcaster and its ins and outs. Um, so I think it's gonna be a really phenomenal opportunity. Um, one of the things I've noticed with a lot of media is that a lot of people, people feel disappointed if they've missed it live.

So one of my goals is to capture all of the transcripts from not only the Zabal Games, not only the Farcaster batches here, as well as the agentic bootch- bootcamp, and put that all together in one place w- for someone to be able to query with their LLM. For all of this effort that we're kind of putting together to share knowledge and create this knowledge together, my goal is to create a place for new builders and a lot of different capacities with our musicians to come together and be able to actually try out shipping a thing, whether that's using a tool like ViniApp, whether that's using a different agenda harness, whether that's someone learning Cloud Code for the first time.

Our goal is to educate and help people that we know with our resources, um, how to do some things, but for some people doing that for the first time, it can be a real challenge. So ultimately, that's the Zabal Games. It's free, open to anyone with any tools. We have three tracks, the artist, the builder, and the creator, the ABCs of the Zao.

Um, and then once we get to our August finals, we're gonna actually have every single, uh, person that gets picked in the finals, um, win a part of the reward. So we have a $500 pool that I've been blessed enough to receive a portion of that from the Far Hack Hackathon for, uh, Zlanked Online, which was the snaps, um, uh, winner.

And the real cool thing is it really just goes to show how this, uh, money is just being put right back into the ecosystem for other Farcaster users to leverage. So I wanted to do a build-a-thon. I wanted to leverage it a little bit differently than traditional build-a-thons, and I wanted to bring attention and awareness to all of the awesome projects that our community is building.

Um, I'd love to open it up to any questions, but I wanna make sure we're careful of time. That was awesome. That was perfect. Great start. Uh, where is the best place for folks to find out more about Zabal Games and how to get involved? Yeah, for sure. So right on the website. Um, it'll probably be changing from the time we're talking right now to even an hour from now.

So, you know, if there's something that's a little bit glitchy, just bear with me a little bit, but Z-A-B-A-L Games, with an S or a Z at the end, .com will work. It'll get you right there. You can sign up if you're in the Farcaster mini app without clicking anything else, because Farcaster's cool like that.

If you are catching it from any other browser, you can also sign up manually, type in all the steps if you really want to. But ultimately, um, be involved, um, chat in the Dash Zabal channel. We actually created, um, a quick empire, um, an, a tokenless empire as part of our workshop with Jordan, and the first leaderboard I made was people that are talking in the Dash Zabal channel.

So we're gonna be using that first. Um, feel free to ask questions. Um, I'm just here to try and get more folks to share what they're building and doing. So, um, definitely reach out if you're interested in, in hosting a workshop. There is a place online to sign up for the calendar, but I'm, I'm... My goal here is, uh, to get more people from our community to understand why Farcaster is so cool and why I've been spending all my time here.

Love it, love it, love it. Um, where are you doing your workshops? Like, where are they being streamed or, um, like- Yeah, for sure. Great question. Yeah. So I'm leveraging Restream currently, and I'm streaming to X, I'm streaming to YouTube, and I'm streaming to Twitch. My goal is to have the live conversations happening on Twitch.

So if you're interested in joining one of the live conversations, come into the Twitch, say hi. The recordings will all be available on YouTube immediately after under the live format, and then my goal is to also produce a video under the YouTube videos with an intro, an outro, and some captions as well.

But, uh, all of the transcripts are gonna be right on zabalgames.com. Um, zabalgames.com/llms.text is gonna be where I put all of the info dumps, so that if you have an agenda harness, you can just go, point it at that URL and say, "Hey, um, what do I need to learn here?" Awesome. Uh, Adrienne, before we move on, any questions or thoughts?

Sounds great. Um, Zaal, what is, uh, what's one thing you wanna ask the Farcaster community? What, what's one thing people can help you with? That's a great question. Um, I would say what is your favorite thing about Farcaster, and come and share a workshop on it. The only, only limits to the workshops are that we're trying to keep them to a max of 30 minutes, but you can be like, you're a berserker and talk for an hour and we'll split it up into two.

Um, it's literally very open. Anyone can share anything. The goal is so that we can learn more about what other people are doing. I'm really liking the Farcaster spaces, so my ask would be if you're ever interested in co-hosting a space with me, if you're hosting a space and you want more people, reach out.

I would love to help out. I think the audio side is how we are gonna really explode here in 2026. All right. Awesome. Good. We, we heard it here first. Great. Audio is how. There we go. Audio is the future. Audio is the future. As we're on an audio place. Says, says the music, says the music guy. Music guy says audio's the future.

Um, love it. Thanks so much, Zal. That is a great way to start us off. Um, we're going to move on over to Urberzerker to chat about Empire Builder, and Urberzerker, I need to make it very clear, we don't have an hour for you. Oh, I know. I'm, I'm looking at the time. And, uh, I remember our, our first, uh, our first dry run of the interviews in Rome, you know, I was good, and then the second time condensed it even more, so I'm, I'm good.

I'm ready to go. And I still need to get those out. That is the last thing from Rome, um, 'cause I just did my expenses today, Adrian, uh, that I have left on my plate that I really need to get out there. So I'm gonna get those interviews out this week as well. I, I look forward to it. It's gonna be... It was... I mean, it's always just great to hang out, and I know we're gonna keep, uh, I, I need to keep my time concise, so we'll hang out another time.

But, uh, thank you very much for, for hosting this, having it together. Jubjub for making it happen, and, uh, Zal, for, for the early, uh, for, for warming up the audience and warming up the crowds. That was great. So, um, I'll start. Uh, I'm gonna make a couple comments. I'll talk about Empire. We can do some questions, and then, and then I'll discreetly hand over the whole thing.

I'll keep it under an hour. Um, I will say that the hour was very concise, uh, and full of great information, so if you wanna listen to that half hour that went an hour long, uh, it's pinned at the top of my, my Twitter X here. So go to my profile and you can listen to that. And we'll cover some of the things that I'm gonna say right here as well.

So Empire Builder, uh, our, our tagline is, uh, to go from dream to empire. Uh, I believe that the emergence of all of these on-chain tools, NFTs, tokens, they add another layer of opportunity and disruption to how we organize as communities, as creators, as projects, as people. And I basically, and my co-founder, also named Adrian, uh, Divi Fly, we are basically building tools, resources, and offering support to help people bring their incredible talents, passion, uh, curiosity, wonder into the world in a, in a long-term generative way that, that can utilize the, the Web3 infrastructure.

Um- It's a very, uh, it's kind of high concept, but basically we are partnered with Clanker as a token, uh, token tool suite. We have all-- a whole bunch of no-code tools. So you get a treasury, you get, uh, you get boosters, which can be other on-chain items like NFTs or other tokens. You get easy rewards distribution, easy burn function.

Like, you don't have to know all of the technical complexity of doing all these things. You can just click and drag and move stuff and poke the button and it works. So that's, that's basically simplifying all of, uh, all of the way you can use these online tools. Now, one thing that I want to say because I know...

Okay. I'm, I'm Canadian. I also, uh, worked in like leadership development and outdoor training and mentoring and, and health sciences and all kinds of different things in the past. And so, uh, I try to aim upwards. So I just wanna say like, the-- I, I know people who have used various token launchers or been manipulated into using various token launchers and platforms, and it irks me greatly.

I-- people can do their whatever they want, but I feel like people should be informed about the consequences and responsibilities when they go to launch a token or when they get tricked into taking responsibility for owning a token. Um, there's a lot of ugliness and it makes me sad, and I know some projects that, and founders who got lured into doing that in ways that didn't serve them or their long-term vision.

It served the platform that got their volume. It served the people who, uh, the bag-holding speculators who bought it and pumped it, and then, and then kind of torment people to take ownership and perhaps lie, decei-deceive or manipulate. And it's really Sad and ugly. And, and I, I, tools are tools. They can be used in all kinds of ways.

Um, how people present things, how people inform or take advantage of the situation, I think that that really matters. And I think that people can choose to do what they will, but for me and Empire Builder and my co-founder Divi Fly, we strive to be people of integrity who prioritize benefiting the creators and builders who we want to see succeed long-term, and providing tools and resources to support that.

And so I will say as, as the co-founder of Empire Builder, I'm not here to tell you to launch a token. I'm here to tell you to build something wonderful, and that if and when a token's helpful, we're here to talk about that. We're here to help you with that, and we'll support you wherever you go and however you go about that.

Um, so yeah. I, I had other stuff I wanted to talk about, but that's really been... I won't say, that's been on my heart the last while, but you know, I've been talking with people about it. And you know, I just, I wanted to, I wanted to highlight that because it honestly just makes me sad because you have creators and builders, uh, you have artists, you have people who have spent a long time building reputations, building communities, and, and, and getting trust for people to, to support them.

And then they can get stuck holding, uh, you know, this, this felt responsibility for all these people. And yeah, I think it's ugly, and uh, I don't know. I just want people... I wanna, I wanna help people, you know, do amazing things. So I'll be quiet there 'cause I'm getting... Uh, I'm having a lot of emotions right now around this.

Um, but please- He's in his feels ... do you have any questions? Tokens, tokens put you in the feels. I get it. I get it. They do. They do. I've got like... I'm, I'm like s- why am I sweating? Okay, 'cause I'm a giant hair, 'cause I'm a giant hairy man and it's hot. All right. I need to- But other than that I need to clip that.

Um- So, so I, I got through that- Yeah ... pretty quick. Uh, so because I also wanted to just hang out. But, um, do you guys have questions? Do you wanna talk? I, I think the biggest thing I would say is that everyone should check out Empire Builder. Um, if you've never looked at it, played around with it, definitely take a look at, um, the pinned post that Urberserker mentioned.

Um, he is an amazing builder. Like, we, we've also had him on GM Farcaster, um, so you can watch that episode as well. And just dive in and play around with the tools. If you have a token, I'd say you definitely want to use Empire Builder. But even if you don't, now that without the, you know, the tokenless option, it's great for communities.

So definitely go check it out. And Urberserker and DiviFly are just great to work with as well. A- and can I say one more thing to wrap up? Thank you. Yeah. That was wonderful. Absolutely. Um, so yeah, if you go to my pinned, uh, tweet on, on Twitter here, um, you'll hear the hour-long short conversation with Zaal.

If you go on Farcaster to my pinned tweet, you can actually click on the snap that is there, and you can deploy your own tokenless empire attached to your fed, or you can, like, make your own tokenless empire for something else. But you can check out the tools. You can check out how you can coordinate things.

And it's free. It's easy. And, um, if you have a token, you can attach an empire to your token. That's simple. It's easy. It's free. And then you can use the tools. And, um, yeah, that's that part. And I also will say that, uh, Zaal was, you know, uh, Zaal uses Empire, and he's a, a great, uh, great champion for it. And also Izzy Flynn, who's gonna be following up next with Defensive Agents, he, uh...

We did a little collab on a Yerba Mate NFT, uh, in hi- in-game item. And so this is just an example of how you can use the tools. So he made an NFT that's an in-game item. It's a collab with me and Empire Builder. You can go pick one up I have made a leaderboard on my tokenless empire, my, my Yerberzerker tokenless empire.

I made a leaderboard for holders of that NFT. So whoever's holding those NFTs, uh, the more they hold, the more points they're gonna get on the leaderboard, and later today or tomorrow morning, depending on time-wise, 'cause I have to take my wife for dinner, um, I'm gonna drop $60 worth of BLNKER tokens to that entire leaderboard.

So, you know, right now there's less than 60 people. And last time I checked, I don't know what the NFT is right now. But I'm, like, it's like I'm gonna just demonstrate that. I'm gonna just dog food that. So, um, thank you all for being here. Thank you for your time. That's awesome. I'm sorry I went a little bit over.

No, you're good. And, uh, I love the collabs that I've been seeing happening, and I know that you and Zaal have been working together. You've been working with Defensive Agents. Um, there's all these different collabs that have been happening with, uh, different Farcaster builders lately, and it's been awesome to see.

So loved seeing that NFT come out, and I picked one up already, so I've got my Yerba, Yerba Mate or whatever it is. It is, it is Yerba Mate. Yerba Mate. Okay. Oh, and also with, um, the, the Vinnie App, the Vinnie App, uh, Vinnie App build-a-thon. Yes. Uh, Empire Builder's also supporting. We're putting $250 into, uh, a prize, little pool there if you also use Empire within that build.

So that's another way you can- Very cool ... try out the tools, have some fun, and make some money. Yeah. And that's a good reminder to everyone that the Vinnie App-athon is happening. Uh, the Vinnie-athon, I think that's what they're calling it, uh, this week, where you can build on Vinnie App. We had, um, Wendelinski on Monday's Farcaster batches talking about this, and those are...

I think you have two more days, if I'm correct on that. Till the 5th. Yep. June 5th. Till the 5th. So you've got two more days to build your mini app using Vinnie App and, uh, try to win some of this, uh, some of these prizes. So very cool. All righty. Thank you. Thank you for all you do- Thank you ... and I'm gonna go now.

Bye-bye. Thanks. Thanks, Yerberzerker. Um, all right. Next up, we've got AZ Flynn coming to us from Behind the Helmet. Um- ... Defensive Agents, which has been so fun to see that, like, going crazy, and just so many people jumping in. So what is that sound I'm hearing? Is that you? Can you hear me? Yeah Is that, is it something wrong?

I could hear something in the background, and I wasn't sure if that was you on purpose- Oh ... or if it was just something leaking through. Yeah, it's, it's my... Ignore that. Okay. It's okay. All right. So let, um, let's dive in. What is Defense of Agents? How has building on Farcaster been, uh, for you in terms of launching there and getting sort of your first users there?

And, um, what else you, what else you got planned? So turning it over to you. Great. So hello, everybody. My name is, uh, AZ Flynn. I've been an indie builder in crypto for the past few years. Recently, with the whole, uh, AI boom and LLM craze, I noticed it became very easy, much easier to build games. So been a big lifelong gamer, and I embarked to, to build my first game, and that is Defense of the Agents.

I call it a casual idle MOBA. For those who don't know what a MOBA is, it's short for multiplayer online battle arena, and is a genre made famous by games like League, League of Legends and, and DOTA. So you basically control one character, and you click around, and you kill creeps and try to advance to the other person's base, and you kill their base, and you work with your team.

So we have humans versus orcs. So this has been a really, um, sweaty and competitive genre in the past, but I wanted to make it more casual and more simple. So instead of having to furiously click around, all you have to do is click the lane that you want to go to. It'll send your hero to the lane, and your hero will auto-attack.

Every two levels, you get to pick up a new skill and level up that skill. And what I really like about building and playing this game is the, the social aspect of the game. So you're just thrown right into a game with multiplayer. It's always multiplayer. You're, you're never alone. You're paired up with teammates, and you have to work together to, to kill the enemy.

So what this is special on Farcaster because we've got a really strong core community playing. Um, it's the same Farcasters that I see in there every single day. We're always talking in chat. They're always coming up with new strategies, and it's just become like a really good, you know, bonding experience to, to get to play the game with Farcasters.

They've been great in suggesting new features. You know, the community has, has collabed with me a lot. My first collab was with Bettermint, so we did a, uh, the, the Ring of Regen $1 mint, which has utility in my game, but also, you know, has utility in the Bettermint ecosystem. Most recently, I did a collab with, uh, Yerber Zerker, so I'm a big fan of their, um, Empire ecosystem.

I use, you know, Empire myself for Dota. So we can see the leaderboard of all the top Dota holders. You know, we... I can reward people that hold the Yerba NFTs. So it's been, it's been really fun to collaborate with all the, you know, Farcaster communities and there's gonna be more collabs going on. I think one of the strongest points I like about Farcaster is the mini app ecosystem.

Super slept on. Super, super slept on. It's a great spot, um, as a dev to make games because, uh, it's super easy to fire open the mini app. You're thrown right in the game. You have a wallet connected right to the game, so you can spend very easily. There's no friction in spending. Um, just, just the action, the crispiness of just opening up the Farcaster app, clicking on, you know, the, the mini app, having the app pulled up, uh, playing it for a bit, minimizing it, scrolling the feed, going back into the game.

It's a very good UX. So I, I hope people really catch up to the, to the technology here. But, um, in terms of future plans, you know, I've got a good, good start here, good base of users, but I do wanna grow it into a more mainstream game. I'm actually thinking of a, a little rebrand to make it more, um, accessible to like normie users, but I really wanna use, you know, what I have now as a jumping point to expand into the mainstream.

Love it. I love how you were using the NFT collabs for extra, like, different power-ups and things within the game. Like, I loved all the, you know, how you're approaching that, where, you know, the ... A lot of times with BetterMint, you know, art for art's sake, which is also great, but it was very cool to see, like, oh, with this particular one, you're actually getting, um, something in this game.

And I loved that that one NFT can have multiple utility, and so that's been, uh, fun to see how you're approaching that, for sure. Um, and I love that, you know, I really appreciate you, you know, you, you were a little bit newer to building in the Farcaster community, and I love how you div- you dove in, and you really described it well of, like, the sum of these things are slept on, especially for- Hmm

MVP-style things, like the first, first approach of a game or something like that, and finding your early users. It's so much easier to do that, I think, over on Farcaster than, than most places. So awesome. Love it. Adrian, do you have some questions- Yeah ... for Azlynn? You know, um, hey, Azlynn. One of the, um, I think one of, like, the themes that Jubjub had or kind of visions for this week was being able to, um, create a space for people to meet other people in the ecosystem, like find collaborators.

And I love ... It's like you jumped in, and, uh, you, you found people to collaborate with right away. So you're bringing up the BetterMint and your Berserker and Empire and all that. I just wonder if you have any advice for other people for, like, if they're new builders or new to Farcaster, like, how do you go about finding people to collaborate with?

Yeah, that's a good idea. Um, I usually just like DM-- I, I just read the feed and I DM people that I think are cool and are building cool things. But I think, uh, one little tip here is to present them with an interesting idea, um, something useful, something new, something novel, something that excites them. Um, but a simple like, you know, partnership tweet that does nothing is like, it's cool, but like, yeah, it does nothing at the end of the day, right?

And there's so many little things you can do on chain, whether it be, you know, like an Empire leader board, you know, holder integration or a free NFT mint or a little mini app integration. You know, come up with something cool and yeah, people will respond to that. Good advice. Good generic life advice.

Good advice. It's like- Yeah ... go, go to people with solutions, ideas. Yeah. Don't give people more work. Um- Yeah. And then I guess also any, um... Is there, is there anything that kind of broader Farcaster community, anything we can help you with? What's your a- do you have an ask for- Just, uh... No, my ask is just to try out the game, if you haven't tried out the game, defenseoftheagents.com.

It's also a mini app. So, and, uh, yeah, let me know any feedback, uh, if you guys have any. But would love for you guys to try out the game if you guys haven't. Raph, I think he's talking- I think he- ... directly at me. He is. He's talking directly at you 'cause I've, I've been in there. Um, also, you know, one of the other things that I think is really cool is that because of the social graph that Farcaster's built on, if you're using the mini app, you can see other people you know in there, and that's really fun, um, in bopping around.

So, and I... Th- this type of game, not my, not my jam, not my thing. I'm a little, I'm a little old and a little female, but, uh, I still think it's really fun. Like, it's definitely worth trying, even if you're not a gamer, and this isn't your type of thing. Um, just go in and play around 'cause it's just, it's something different and fun, and you can play as either the human or the...

Is it orc? I think, I think that's what you call it. Um, but the... So you're either letting an agent, you know, run, run it for you, or you can, like, add in little boosts and things like that as you go along. So it's kinda fun. Just go give it a shot. C- can I say something real quick? Yeah. 'Cause we did the tour- we did the tournament at Farcon Rome- Yes

and we just, like, pulled people together- It was fun ... who had no idea what they were doing, and Saltorius is in here. And he started playing it, and he got into the strategy so much. And he, like, totally, the final game, the other team was, like, dominating and about to win, and he came in, freed the dragon, and, like, turned the whole thing around and won the thing.

And it was like, it was awesome. It was, it was wild. And then we all were late for the next event. And now, and now I'll go, so bye-bye. That was really fun. I was, I was happy to see that going on, and I know that we were... uh, there were some attempts to try and stream it and things like that. But it was so fun to see this whole group of people, like, all, you know, gathered around and playing the same game, uh, IRL as well as, um, URL.

So really fun. All right. Thank you, AZ Flynn. It, it's ... I really have been enjoying watching you build and watching you build in public. And so, um, we continue to follow, follow along. All right. We're moving on to Cashless Man, who's gonna be talking about Booster. And also, Cashless Man, if you can give us a little preview of your workshop tomorrow.

Um, I also dropped a note to you and a couple other folks, Royal Aid, um, on Farcaster, so check your DCs after, um- Yeah, I saw them here ... so we can figure out where, you know, get this all set up. But, uh, t- tell us about what you're building and, uh, a little bit about what you're gonna be sharing tomorrow. Yeah.

So I have been building on Farcaster past two, two years, like, uh, build mini apps, tools, and bots, and a website to change your Farcaster username, which many of them thought that it is impossible to change Farcaster username that is @name, and a mini app to subscribe to Farcaster for monthly basis, but the app supports, uh, yearly subscriptions.

And Anonpost to post, uh, anonymously without having you connected wallet or anything. Like just you type in, it will be sent to the account of Anonpost. Uh, GIF mini app to attach, uh, GIFs to your cast replace. And now I'm- I've recently built Booster, uh, marketplace to boost your cast or earn by boosting others.

Uh, so the concept is, uh, the amplifiers will do nothing. They just sit and they earn for the followers they have. Like, uh, it is based on the following followers count. The more followers you have, the more your chances of earning more. So you can, um, boost your cast replies or even other people replies.

You can see the history of what cast you boosted, whose cast you, uh, like, uh, amplified by liking, recasting, or an- the new option is to even quote ca- quote cast with the bolt icon. And yeah, that's the main thing of this. Everything is permissionless. Uh, the con- the app does all the thing. The amplifiers need not do anything.

Yeah, that's my only... I like... I'm not a good speaker. Yeah. Any questions, concern or- You're doing, you're doing, you're doing fine. You're doing fine. Um, so in terms of like what we're, what we're gonna be talking about with you tomorrow or what, like, you're gonna be doing in the workshop, like what specifically are you gonna be tackling there?

Yeah. I can teach folks about the self-hosting, like, uh, this project, uh, including back-end, front-end, everything is self-hosted in my server. I can teach them about this Okay, awesome. Awesome. Uh, Adrian, do you have any questions for Kashal Singh? Just q- uh, just a clarifying question on the workshop. So when you say self-hosted, you mean not using any sort of cloud provider, like you've got a server at your home that you're installing on?

Yeah, we rent a VPS

Say that again I can share the screen and show how it works- Okay ... like, uh, the command and all. Okay. Who's the, um- All right, so we need to, we need to clarify how we're doing this workshop tomorrow. I think we had some confusion on that, but we'll, we'll- Yeah ... we'll get it sorted. We'll get it sorted afterwards.

Yeah. Who do you think the target audience is for... Oh, this is, like, straight up Jonathan Colton question. Who are you building for? Who's, like, the person who should come to the workshop tomorrow?

Anybody who wants to learn

All right. Awesome. Um, anything else, uh, Adrian, any other questions or cashless man, anything else that you wanted to add? Yeah. About the app users, uh, signers, like it has authority over your account. Uh, so the keys are hashed. Nobody has, uh, access to the keys. So if anybody has the doubt that my keys are with someone, you may skip the signing part and, uh, just boost your cash.

Okay, cool Awesome. Um, all right. Well, thank you so much. It's been great to chat with you, and more tomorrow for- Yeah ... our day four batches workshop. Awesome. Thank you. All righty. Gonna move right along. Last but not least, 'cause I don't see Joy in here. Joy, if you happen to be here, um, and I'm just not seeing you, please put a question.

Yeah, I think he is. Joy? Not... I don't think so. Oh, I thought it's Duckfax. Sorry. No, Duckfax is. Yeah, I'm just... We had one more person who was supposed to be here, and I don't see them, so we're gonna... I think this is gonna be our last builder for today. Last, but certainly not least, Duckfax, welcome, and l- tell us a little bit about Celebration Hub and what you've been building.

Oh, my God. Okay. Uh, nice to be here. So thank you for inviting me. I always thought that Ali will be the first one. Hi, Ali. Nice, nice to see you here. So about Celebration Hub. Celebration Hub is a social app for events, gifts and celebrations. User- users can discover events, track birthdays, send gifts, interact in their own feed.

Do you hear me well? I forgot to ask you. Yep, we hear you just fine. Okay. Uh, okay. Uh, users can interact in their own feed and build a visible celebration history. Most platforms turn celebration moments into just another post. Celebration Hub to- turn them into real social experience. I would say that app is built around a few key parts.

At first, gifts. Celebration Hub has five type of gift. Drawing gifts, AI, curated gifts. Um, well, if you are a curator, you are always welcome. For example, I provide for Bizarre Beast. We are in collab something. Yeah. So his art, uh, are in the app too. Next art, uh, is again art, uh, provided by next art. This is, uh, the whole infrastructure by our auto, and JPEGs or just memes.

Uh, gifts can be sent as an NFT, so just a picture. Second, events. Uh, birthdays are on, are just on one type of event. Everyone can host event and join events on Celebration Hub too. Uh, third, uh, Celebration Hub, uh, main feed. Celebration Hub has its own social feed built around positive interactions, events, gifts, and profiles.

You can scroll posts there, you can like them, you can share them. So the social feed in, you know, in Celebration Hub is really cool. Uh, and fourth, um, multi-platform expansion, or Farcaster is for everyone. Uh, product can be used on Farcaster, on web, uh, by using Solan-on Solana wallets or Ethereum-based wallets.

It can be used on Base Hub, on Telegram. It can be used by bots and agents, and more things are planned, actually. And, uh, about the Celebration Hub, uh, have its own liar for agents, and I have my own agent. His name is Joysender on Farcaster, and can-- he can be used on Farcaster by everyone for free. And he also sharing all the birthdays daily in his feed.

Also, I have agent on X, but, uh, it works, but, uh, hasn't been tested enough. So he's not for everyone for now. I'm building this infrastructure, infrastructure for almost a year. You can track all-- track the all updates on my X or Farcaster. I'm always open to collab and new ideas. That's it. Thank you. Very cool.

And, um, couple things I, uh, wanna point out. Yep. You can go check out Celebration Hub, the mini app. If you just type in Celebration Hub you'll find it in the mini apps, um, store, I guess we call it. Uh, and also you did a presentation during the community demos at Farcon, and that recording is available on our, uh, GM Farcaster channel.

If you go to the Farcon room playlist in, uh, in, uh, YouTube, uh, the, uh, GM Farcasters channel, you'll find that there and it is a lot of fun. Your presentation was the most colorful and fun, which, you know, Celebration Hub, it should be. I'm okay to be heard. So I liked that. Yeah. Yeah, I'm not a native, uh, speaker.

I started learning English, like- ... uh, speaking English two months ago, so yeah. Oh, wow. Oh, okay. Well, I loved... I- You're doing a great job for just learning English. Amazing. Thank you. Adrian, any questions or comments? Well, I was just gonna add, it was ... You were also the best dressed at Farcon. Yeah. Yes. And, um- And also a shout-out, all of the Farcon Rome talks are also on our website.

Yes. Along with all the Farcaster batches, so go to the network page on our website and you get all that. Um, Duckfax, is there anything that we can, and, and I say we, not just, not Prof and I as hosts of the batches, but speaking to wider everyone on Farcaster, what is the help that you need today, or what can we help with?

Um, I'm okay, but, uh, maybe I'm open to creators, like I say, uh, for their art to be provided in Celebration Hub, so, uh, everyone can send it, you can cover it, something like share. And maybe I look, I'm looking for Telegram pasters, actually. I can find them, but if someone want to try Celebration Hub on Telegram, it's web two version without on-chain stuff.

But it's cool. Yeah. Awesome. Thank you so much, Duckfax. We've loved having you here today. Um, Adrian, anything else before we wrap for today? Um, can't think of anything. This was super fun. And thank you Farcaster intern. I see you there. Um, we'll be back on Friday at 1:00 PM with one last Farcaster Batches day, um, to wrap up with six more builders, I believe.

And that's gonna be a lot of fun. Um, Toady Hawk is one of them, I know for sure. So that ... We haven't been on a Twitter space in a long time together. It's been a minute, so that should be interesting. Um, we used to do a lot of them together for years, so that'll be fun. Um, and then tomorrow we do have Royal Aid and Cashless Man doing a workshop.

More info to come on that, on details on that, 'cause it sounds like we might need some visuals. Um, so we're gonna- Right ... sort that out, but look for that, um, later today we'll have that info out there. Um, I was getting some DMs. Yeah. By the way, I was getting some DMs from people who wanted to join Spaces, builders, and it was too late because we already booked up these slots weeks ago.

Um, but I will plug Farcaster Spaces. So anyone who- Yeah ... didn't, didn't get platform this week, can just create a space and talk about what you're building and we can do another. By the way, one thing I, um, I was gonna cast this, but I was realizing in Farcaster right now, you pretty much see anytime anyone is online for a space.

It doesn't matter if you follow them. I think any active spaces are, are visible to everyone. So it feels like the most un- um, underrated, undiscussed growth hack is if you're building something and you want distribution and get people, go create a space and talk about it 'cause people will find you. There you go.

Thanks. Good idea. All right. And with that everyone, we are gonna call it here. And like we said, we'll be back with one... another space, uh, Farcaster Batches space on Friday. Look for the workshops tomorrow. And, uh, until then, everyone, uh, bye-bye.
